Get in Touch

Custody, release, records, and supervision questions must reach the office that owns the information. The contacts below separate city booking, state correction records, facility custody, and community supervision.

This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record.

Choose the Right Record Path

Use the home page for the complete released-person search and release-record request sequence. Post-release supervision belongs on Parole & Probation. Same-day alternatives are on the 24-Hour Release List. Future calculations and alerts are covered by Projected Release Date and the VINELink Check. Facility pages in the footer carry the correct contact and locator for each custody type.

New Haven Police Contacts

Use New Haven Police for a very recent city arrest, Union Avenue booking question, or NHPD incident record. It does not replace Connecticut DOC for someone transferred to New Haven Correctional Center.

Federal and Immigration Questions

A federal sentence belongs in the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator, while the District of Connecticut and PACER hold federal docket information. Immigration detention uses the ICE Online Detainee Locator System. None of those systems is replaced by the New Haven police or CT DOC search.
